APPS profile

The Association of Providers of Personnel Services "APPS" - was officially established in 2002. It basically formalised the yearlong cooperation and joint forces of 4 prominent employment agencies, all active on the Czech and international labour markets, which aim at increasing the quality and potential of the Czech labour market.

APPS is an independent and voluntary interest group. Its prime goal is to shape conditions to favourably develop of the stable market of labour potential in the Czech Republic. It order to realise this goal, APPS communicates with competent institutions and state authorities.

APPS members prove their professionalism by the unusually high quality of services rendered, yearlong experiences and the acceptance of the APPS Code of Ethics.

The association is first and foremost an organisation of professionally organised personnel agencies and consultancy companies in the area of providing employment services. Even if its focus is on these professional groups, APPS welcomes to expand its membership with other interested parties, which have the future of the Czech labour market at heart.

APPS supports the professional development of its members, advocates personnel -consultancy services, provides its members with information and counselling as well as materials and the organisation of common actions, conferences and seminars.

One of the basic ideas behind APPS is to respect the rights and rightful interests of its individual and company members, mainly everyone's right to chose their profession and how to attain this, everyone's right to get the opportunity to carry out his/her work, everyone's right to a fair compensation for his/her work, the right to satisfactory work conditions and a fair and even treatment of all employees as well as the right to be an entrepreneur or to realise other economic activities. APPS strongly opposes any kind of discrimination on the Czech labour market.
