How to became the member of APPS

      

Only a corporate entity could be a member of APPS active in the field of personnel and consultancy services, which has decided to participate in the support of APPS in fulfilling its subject of activities as well as abiding to the following conditions:

  1. A member has to acquire a MPSV permit in regards to employment mediation for a fee in the Czech Republic or any other permit and license based on valid legal regulations for activities slinked to offering services on the local labour market,
  2. A member has to accept and abide by the APPS Code of Practice,
  3. A member is obliged to abide by all conditions in the APPS membership regulations.

The other possibility is a honorary membership. The honorary APPS member could be a physical entity - significant specialist active in the field of local or international labour markets. This membership is based upon a unanimous consent by all APPS members. APPS honorary membership is valid from the day of approval. An honorary member shall not have voting rights.

Who is a provider of personal services?

A provider of personal services can be any corporate body that has made a decision to conduct a gainful activity on the Czech labour market. It is not however a rule that any entity that decides that is automatically considered as a provider. The Czech legal reality requires specific permits to conduct activities in his field. For personal services a permit is required from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MPSV).

Personal services can be categorised into several points:

  • Recruitment
  • Temporary agency Working
  • Outplacement
  • Outsourcing
  • Other personal services

Providing such services are considered highly sensitive since the provider of services co-builds and co-creates the professional future, changes in professional structures, education and professional development or growth of individual citizens. It is imperative that these services are to conducted in a manner that is socially sensitive by constant education, experience and interest of the given issue.

Providers of personal services mainly work with personal, sometimes sensitive data. They do fall under the stipulations of §101/2000 Sb.

APPS has created its Code of Practice. A provider of personal services who seeks to be a member of the APPS has to prove the strict abidance to such rules and that the provider fulfils the needs of the requirements of the modern labour market. Entities that respects the ethics of free business, healthy competition, laws and regulations of the Czech Republic and a considerable  interest in the development of the field of personal services.
